As many of you have heard, it is with great sadness that we shared the news of the passing of Selectman Bill Gerber last week. Bill was a dedicated and active member of the Fairfield community. His wife, Jessica Gerber, who is a member of our office staff, has contributed immeasurably to the heart and spirit of our school.
Bill and Jessica’s son, Teddy, was a former student at Osborn Hill and faced a courageous battle with cancer in 2010. In memory of Teddy, the Gerber family devoted much of their time and energy to raising funds for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which supports childhood cancer research.
