After School Activities are Coming!

Fall 2025 After School Activities will run the week of 10/13 through the week of 12/8. Registration will take place the week of 9/29.

The PTA is committed to providing high-quality, enriching after-school activities for our students as these programs offer our children valuable opportunities to explore new interests, build skills, enhance creativity and connect with their peers, teachers and school community in a safe and supportive environment. In order to continue offering a wide variety of programs and ensure their viability and sustainability, a few changes will be going into effect immediately:

  • All registration will take place on the OHS PTA Website using Membership Toolkit.  To participate in ASA, families must be active members of the OHS PTA.

  • Payment will be made directly to the OHS PTA through the website. Payment is inclusive of payment for teachers, ASA insurance, and materials fees where appropriate.

  • Once you register, registration is FINAL.  No changes or refunds will be given.  You will know immediately if you have a spot in a class.  Please be sure to use the preview period to coordinate with friends and confirm your child’s activity schedule before you sign up for an ASA.

  • All classes must meet their minimum number of students in order to run.  If a class does need to be cancelled due to low enrollment, the ASA activities leaders will contact you directly.

  • As part of our commitment to safety and quality, we as a PTA are required to carry liability insurance to cover all after school activities. In order to keep offering a wide range of activities and maintain the level of protection required for our students, teachers and PTA organization, you will notice a small increase in registration fees.

  • Parents are REQUIRED to update their child’s school dismissal manager on a regular basis if they participate in ASA.  The main office should not have to be calling families to confirm that your child is staying for an activity.  If this is an ongoing issue, your child will no longer be able to participate in ASA.

  • If a child misses an ASA due to an absence there are no make ups, however, if a class is cancelled due to teacher illness, absence, weather etc., a makeup will be offered during the make-up window at the end of each session.
