I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I imagine everyone is busy getting ready for the holidays. I want to remind you about a Parent Square I sent home this past week regarding our Holiday Gift Card Drive. This is an opportunity to help Osborn Hill families through the holiday season. In case you missed it, here is the letter again with more details. We appreciate any support you can provide.

Please keep the following in mind for this week at OHS:

• Please make sure your SDM is up-to-date.

• Kindergarten Field Trip on Thursday at 10:00AM to Edgerton Theatre at SHU

• Grade 2 Field Trip on Friday at 9:00AM to Maritime Aquarium 

• Friday afternoon will be a Flagman Assembly, which is an education outreach program that promotes road safety awareness.

• Our Custodial Toy Drive continues. The custodians are collecting new unwrapped toys. A collection box will be located outside the main office until December 18th.

We have lots of tickets still up for grabs for this year's Variety Show! We will release all remaining Variety Show tickets in Round 3 tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec 9th. Performers and non-performers can purchase as many tickets as needed in this round, and tickets will remain on sale until we sell out. There will be a special Flash tomorrow with a link to purchase. 

The FPS Maintenance and Custodial team is proud to host their Annual Holiday Toy Drive once again! Each year, they come together to support organizations and families in our community who are less fortunate and may be struggling during the holiday season.

The Toy Drive will run through December 19, 2025. Collection boxes will be outside the main office. Thank you for your continued generosity and support in making the holidays brighter for those in need!

The office is compiling an email list of incoming KDG students for the Fall of 2026. Please email TBudlowski@fairfieldschools.org with your future KDG student’s first and last name, date of birth, and the preschool they attend so they can be added to the list to receive future information about registration, etc.

Winter ASA Class Preview Available! 

We are excited to kick off our Winter After School Activities Session! The session will run from January 12- March 6. 

Now is the time to preview the Winter Session Class Offerings 

This gives you the opportunity to talk to friends and classmates and plan which ASA classes you want to sign up for.

Class Registration begins on Monday December 15! Registration occurs in two phase 

• Phase 1: Monday, December 15th at 8pm - Wednesday, December 17th at 12pm. During the first phase families may register EACH CHILD for ONLY ONE ACTIVITY.  

• Phase 2: Thursday, December 18th at 8am - Monday, December 22nd at 5pm. During this phase the registration page will reopen for students to register for any classes with vacancies. Students may register for more than one activity during this phase.

Come participate in a community service activity to help those in need!

What: We will be decorating and assembling non-perishable care bags for Operation Hope. Operation Hope's mission focuses on eliminating hunger and homelessness.

When: Tuesday, January 13, 2026, 6:00-7:00 p.m., Setup begins at 5:30 p.m.)

How to Participate: Sign up here to help with the event and/or if you want to volunteer with bag assembly at the event.

Donations: We are in the process of seeing if we can get local vendors to donate items to use in the assembly. 

Note: This event is not drop off, every child in attendance needs an adult responsible for them.
