Variety Show Deadlines this week!


Registration for performers closes on Friday  

Just email us at ohsvarietyshow2024@gmail.com with the name and grade of the participants and the name of your act, and you're in! 


**We will start accepting song submissions for acts by email on Friday**

Please keep in mind that songs are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis - it would be a good idea to submit a second choice at the same time. Songs will be accepted until February 12.


Narrator positions available

Thank you for the stage crew volunteers we received prior to break. We still have 2 slots open for 4th or 5th grade narrators. If your child is interested, please send us an email. 


Mandatory Zoom meeting January 22 at 7:30pm

It's mandatory that one parent from each act attend this Zoom. All information that we need to plan the show will be discussed at this time. If no one from your group can make it, you'll need to set up a private time to meet with Sarah Fridman or Marissa Jacobson.

Swing on the ropes course, make some sticky slime, illustrate your own cartoons, and much more.  Our next session of After School Activities has something for everyone! 


After school activities give your child the opportunity to stay after school and participate in a variety of classes and experiences led by some of our amazing Osborn Hill teachers and staff.  


Click here to take a look at the offerings for After School Activities on our website. You can register starting next Monday, January 8 at 8pm.  


Registration occurs over 2 phases: 


  • Phase 1- Monday, January 8th at 8pm- Wednesday, January 10th at 9am
    • During the first phase families may register EACH CHILD for ONLY ONE ACTIVITY.


  • Phase 2- Thursday, January 11th at 8pm - Saturday, January 13th at 9am
    • During this phase the registration page will reopen for students to register for any classes with vacancies. Students may register for more than one activity during this phase.

Score! January 20 is OHS night at the Islanders game

A hockey game is fun for the whole family - and more fun when you're sitting with your OHS friends! We have a section reserved for Osborn Hill families on January 20th. Tickets are $28 and come with a free hat! A small portion of each ticket sale will benefit the PTA. Buy your tickets here:

While you're at the game, consider purchasing tickets to the 50/50 raffle. Proceeds benefit our OHS 5th grade activities!

Deadline Extended for the Reflections Art Competition

Do you have a child that loves to create?  Encourage them to enter the Reflections Art Competition. The deadline has been extended to January 12, so your kids have more timee to design a drawing, painting, photograph, movie, song or dance for a chance to win!


Answer the prompt "I am hopeful because..." using one of these six categories:

  • Visual arts 
  • Photography
  • Music composition
  • Film production
  • Dance choreography
  • Literature


There will be a winner from OHS in each category for grades K-2 and 3-5.  Winners will get a gift card to Crumbl and move on to the state competition! Entries must be submitted by January 12.

Stay tuned for information about our 2nd Annual Sweetheart Dance, which will take place the evening of February 3rd in the APR. Ticket info and volunteer opportunities will be announced soon!
